Georgia Company, Industry Leader

Aflac insurance is now available to the members of the Associations of the Georgia National Guard through the GGIT at discounted rates! These policies pay you cash, when you need it most.  Aflac policies are portable, so if you sign up for a policy, and later leave the Guard, you keep the policy at the same rate.  And, if you sign up and are deployed, your premiums are waived during your deployment.

Aflac policies are guaranteed renewable, meaning your coverage will not be cancelled due to claims.  Here’s some information about how these policies work:

Accident Insurance:

This policy pays you a cash benefit if you receive treatment for injuries sustained in an accident, such as emergency room visits, physical therapy, hospitalization, etc.  There are also benefits for specific injuries (such as a broken leg), and a death and dismemberment benefit. You can cover yourself only, or also add your spouse and/or children.  If you have a civilian job, this policy covers you on the job and does not coordinate benefits with Worker’s Compensation.  The only time this policy will not cover you is while you are actively serving in the military. The policy also pays a wellness benefit of $60 per year, per family, to encourage wellness visits to your doctor.  See the brochure for specific benefits.

Cancer Insurance:

This policy pays you a cash benefit if you are diagnosed and treated for cancer.  Upon diagnosis, it pays a benefit of $2,500, and this benefit increases by $500 for each year you own the policy.  Next, it pays an initial treatment benefit of $3,000 the first time you have radiation or chemotherapy.  The policy will pay up to $5,000 for surgery, and up to $600 for skin cancer surgery.  See the policy brochure for additional benefits.  The policy also pays a $75 wellness benefit per covered person to encourage each person to have an annual cancer screen.
